Welcome Spring!

We were busy both in the studio as well as in the community this past Winter.

A few highlights of the projects we took on the road the last few months....

We were very excited to help Overbrook Pre-school celebrate their annual Art Show with a Wishing Tree.

We had a great time leading a Circle Painting with The Graham Expeditionary Middle School.

We also hosted The Creative Abundance Group's Art Think Tank. I led the group in another collabrative mural of a Circle Painting.

We were also busy very busy inside the studio!
I collected drift wood from Alum Creek. We discussed and looked at works by artist Betty Parsons and painted our own pieces. These will eventually be on display at The Vistors Center at the lower dam at Alum Creek. Stay tuned for the details of our opening reception!

We tried some Huichol Art aka yarn painting.

The Pre-K and Toddler class enjoyed painting on mirrors and snow!

We made totem poles with animals that represented our own family clans (ants, pandas, cats and birds to name a few).

I think my favorite project was our circle painting!

We also had a great Family night in March with pendulum painting and a wind tube!

Looking forward to even more fun projects this Spring!
