Photography Class with David Maki

3 week photography and DSLR operations: No more auto setting for you.
You know some of the basics, but are ready to call the shots when it comes to setting your camera’s functions.
This 3-week class begins with introducing you to: Program, Aperture (Av), and Shutter (Tv) modes.
You will learn how and when to use Exposure Compensation. We will have discussions on JPEG vs. RAW. By the third week you’ll be ready to learn about the Exposure Triangle of ISO, Shutter Speed, and Aperture. Along with how and when to use White Balance. It’s full Manual Mode and all the control that comes with it.
Supply list: * DSLR Camera (a camera with a removable lens – no point and shoot style) If you are unsure, please email David Maki email@example.com with your make and model number and he will verify. * Your camera’s manual if you have it handy * Fully charged battery * One – two memory cards
David Dack Maki has been taking & creating photos since he was 12. He went to school for photojournalism at Columbia college in Chicago & graduated with a Bachelor of fine arts. The Windy City is also where he got his start in the wedding business where he worked for a national wedding company as a photography coach. Currently David is a stay at home dad along with running a portrait & wedding photography business called snap flash photo.
